What the demo covers

Six stages. One record.

The same pipeline every verification runs, walked through live.

  1. Capture

    The applicant opens a link or scans a QR code and photographs the front and back of a government ID on their own phone.

  2. Extract

    The printed side, the PDF417 barcode and the passport MRZ are read and checksummed, then compared field by field against each other.

  3. Liveness

    A short guided challenge — blink, turn, return to centre — tracked on 478 facial landmarks over at least ten frames, so a photo or a replayed video doesn't pass.

  4. Match

    The live face from the liveness step is compared with the document portrait by a model built for phone photos, and reported against a fixed decision line.

  5. Decide

    Anti-spoof, deepfake, mask and document-tamper checks run on every verification and are reported on their own, next to the face match and the document read.

  6. Record

    The result is delivered by a signed webhook. In a Trust Ledger integration, a BIOMETRIC_VERIFIED or BIOMETRIC_FAILED entry is also written to the Activity Ledger. The ID images are purged on a timer; the record of the verification stays.
